Clients frequently ask me when to return a call or text. They want to know how long they should wait before responding to someone they’re interested in. The answer is, don’t wait. You should respond as soon as you want to.
The idea that you have to play hard-to-get is junk-food. If you begin a relationship by playing games of any kind, you will ultimately lose. Now having said that, playing hard-to-get may be required to get a player. But do you want a player? If so, be careful what you wish for.
Players play because they’re not looking for emotional intimacy. They’re just looking for fun, so they play by their own rules. If you try to break their rules, there is no compromise; they just move on to play with another. If you opt to play, you have to be very careful with your heart. Players can be very exciting, but they are high-calorie junk-food. Wouldn’t you rather have a well-balanced meal?
